In regenerative medicine, this is a high-bar term that implies more than symptom improvement or scar-mediated repair; it suggests organized biologic restoration with meaningful structural and functional fidelity. Longitudinally, the concept is tied to durable tissue quality rather than transient appearance or temporary support alone. It is not synonymous with repair, rejuvenation, or collagen stimulation unless those processes demonstrably culminate in true tissue reconstitution.
