Richard Chaffoo, MD, FACS, FICS is one of America’s few triple board certified plastic surgeons. He completed two surgical residencies in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery as well as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in addition to a one year fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at Stanford University. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, & the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr Chaffoo is the medical advisor to Stemson Therapeutics, a La Jolla based biotech company, which is the first company to clone a human hair follicle and create a novel regenerative model approach for hair loss in men and women. Dr. Chaffoo lectures nationally and internationally to train plastic surgeons in hair restoration. His practice focuses on aesthetic plastic surgery of the face and body as well as hair restoration surgery.
