Donna Alderman, DO

Dr. Donna Alderman is an expert in orthopedic regenerative medicine, and an early adapter of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Adipose Derived Stem/Stromal cells for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, her DO from Western University of Health Sciences, and is Board certified in Prolotherapy and Integrative Medicine.

She has been medical director of Hemwall Center for Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine since 1999, with two offices in California. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Alderman has authored multiple medical journal publications and textbook chapters on the subject of non-surgical regenerative treatments for chronic pain, osteoarthritis and sports injuries.

In 2018, the Second Edition of her educational book for lay people was published: Free Yourself from Chronic Pain and Sports Injuries: How Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine can help you become Pain Free.  In 2023 she was recognized by the American Association/Academy of Orthopedic Medicine as an expert in the practice and science of Prolotherapy, PRP, Orthobiologics and Regenerative Medicine.  She can be reached via her website at www.prolotherapy.com.
